Receive an immediate Hedge App notification if your smart home devices detect a potential problem.

  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors sounding
  • Water levels reaching .5mm
  • Severe changes in humidity/temperature that could indicate a water-related issue
  • Activity around doors/windows when your home is armed
  • Noise and motion detection by SmartCam when your home is armed
  • Motion detection by Motion Sensor when your home is armed

Escalations

If you don’t dismiss certain high-priority push notifications (like a water detection), a series of notifications, texts, and calls will be made to you and other users on your account, followed by your emergency contact.

From there, you can leave the app to call emergency services or — in the event of an urgent home issue, like a water leak — use Ready Home Assist to quickly connect with a trusted home professional

The issue is resolved.

Your neighbor knocks on your door and alerts you to the potential issue. You shut off the water in the nick of time.

Ready Home Assist is a Hedge App feature that connects you to hundreds of pre-approved service and repair professionals in your area. You can use Ready Home Assist to get in touch with a professional following a home incident — like a water leak — or to schedule less pressing home repairs. You can also use Ready Home Assist to connect with an expert who can help with bigger home improvement projects, like a bathroom or kitchen remodel.

How to Use Ready Home Assist

Access Ready Home Assist on your Hedge App via the Services tab or by clicking the “incident” in question.

Connect with a Hedge Project Advisor and describe your situation.

Match with a pre-approved professional in your area who will contact you to confirm an appointment.

The home professional will visit your home to begin the requested repairs or home project.
